Henry Silva, 47, resident of San Marcos formerly of Austin went to be with our lord and savior Dec. 1, 2016.
Henry was born July 19, 1969 to Susan and Ciro Silva in Georgetown, TX. Henry attended Plainview High School where he graduated in 1987. He briefly attended Phoenix Institute of Technology later returning to Plainview where he tried his hand in many areas that included retail sales and becoming a proficient waiter and bartender before finally realizing his desire to pursue a career in cosmetology. He attended Baldwin Beauty School in Austin where he graduated and completed his dream profession.
Henry touched many lives as a hairstylist and had a passion for his profession and his clientele where he built many friendships along the way. When Henry was not working, he enjoyed cooking and bartending most of all, but also baking to satisfy his “never ending sweet tooth.”
Without a doubt he was a beloved son, protective brother, and dedicated uncle. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Eladio and Roberta Silva, Lucio and Isabel Suarez, numerous uncles, and brother in law Kent Crabtree.
He is survived by his parents Ciro and Susan Silva, brother Ciro Silva Jr., and sisters Virginia Crabtree, Rebecca Nagar and Victoria Silva.
Henry left behind a legacy of love, generous actions, true friendship, and many good memories to comfort us. A memorial service will be Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, 10:30 a.m. at the Hill Country Event Center, 107 Centerpoint Road, San Marcos, TX.
The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the Staff at Doug’s House for their care and compassion for Henry in his final days.
